My current obsession: TFs with really awkward midpoints where you can still make out the human shape but it’s a bit pudgy and malformed.

Remember the reason for the season

A blonde woman narrating across all four images. "Two thousand years ago on the night of a shooting star,"

Mary in a manger with twins. "...my mother, Mary...."

Mary with twin babies. "...delivered twins, Jesus Christ and Camilla."

A baby with fangs. "I was a fanged vampire from birth."

Rose Petal Place (1984) a 22 minute ""movie"" to sell some flower themed dolls guess it aired as well as released on VHS Yeah this just, sucked, its everything you would expect from just looking at the screenshots. The involvement of Marie Osmand is really the only notable element here.

So I guess the PS5 actually could have been backwards compatible the entire time but they just didnt implement it so that you had to buy the old PS2 games they have available digitally instead of used, while claiming backwards compatibility isnt possible for years. What a surprise 🙄

Theres a certain sage who abandons anime that consistently just has the worst takes I have ever heard and saw that one! I really loved it, one of those films that really leaves an impression and makes you think. Probably on the higher end of stuff I checked out.

I saw that one way earlier in the year! Total Star Wars cash in, but it was pretty fun when you put that aside. Its a odd looking movie at times because you can really tell it was made to be watched with 3D glasses the way they just shove shit at the screen, always funny to see in old 3D films

I have been checking out a lot of vintage animation films lately, and I like to see what other people have to say about them too so will check out reviews after. Its really a shame that so many of these only are seemingly covered by Nostalgia Critic ripoffs trashing them because it was "that" era.

Twilight of the Dark Master (1997, Madhouse) At 45 minutes this is more for the gothic/cyberpunk vibes and atmosphere than the story, which is rushed af and you need to just infer most of the characters relations from context. Kind of a weaker Wicked City, cool visuals but thats mostly it here.

During a stressful stretch of the academic year, I saw an ad for a hypnotist promising instant relief. Now I don’t have a single human worry (or thought) in my head. One session was all it took for a permanent cure. (🎨 by @artbyhornbuckle.bsky.social) #TFEveryday

TF Sketch: Professor Scritch sits up on his haunches, front paws raised, his transformation into a dog nearly complete. Only his furless face and short muzzle retain a trace of humanity. His tie hangs limply around his neck, and his discarded glasses lie on the floor. His eyes swirl with hypnotic spirals as he gazes at two ghostly hands, one swinging a pocket watch, the other offering a dog treat. His tail wags eagerly behind him. Whatever worries brought him here have slipped away, along with any thought of changing back.
