That’s not what I’m arguing. Aubry’s post was saying that saying men should cook plant-based meals was lowering the bar for men, when actually most meals are plant-based and they’re not inherently easier to cook by any means.

I don’t cook meat. I’m vegan. And knowing how to cook something *is* a special skill! For instance, I don’t cook good food. No one ever likes what I cook except me. But friends of mine make frickin vegan pizza or nacho cheese from total scratch, and those are plant-based.

Plenty of teens (at least of the ones I know) do still read adult SFF. The kids who want adult books will find them anyway, and the ones who prefer YA can find more of that now than they could back in our day.
