Looking back on it now, this was an embarrassing post to take a week long break on 😭 but I earned that crash out

Also, hi, I haven’t been on here much lately. My social batteries have been drained. But I’m feeling a bit better now. 💖

I’m convinced some of these companies are just drawing random names out of a hat to decide what games get upgrade packs and which ones you have to buy again. Square Enix stopped drawing them a long time ago, but Sega remembered the hat this time.

what's a poster you had in your room growing up? (Photo from an ebay listing. But yeah, I was deep into a classic rock phase. I didn’t listen to anything recent.)

I know I’m going to regret this, but I’m staying up for the Capcom thing for Ace Attorney news (already coping)

But also, I picked Cai’s story first and he’s voiced by Zeno Robinson…and after playing P3 Reload up to nearly the end earlier this year…I can only hear Junpei 😭

Okay, yes, I did put Xenoblade Chronicles aside for now (for the third time in my life, but I am going to go back to it eventually). Because Fire Emblem.

One can only assume Hamaguchi is re-enacting what it felt like to get the “too many mini games” criticism so much.

Yes, I just pre-ordered the KPop Demon Hunters Criterion 4K blu-ray. It may have been slumbering for a while, but my KPDH arc never truly ended 😭

Most of my time with Xenoblade Chronicles so far has been unhinged screams from Shulk at even the slightest drop, and Reyn Time.

Should also note that I did play like 15 hours or so of 3 when it came out. Still not really sure why I stopped, but something else got my attention I guess. I’m looking forward to playing the whole series now with the Switch 2 upgrades. 😊

My new thing right now while I wait for FFVII Revelation is Xenoblade Chronicles. I’m 12 hours in on a playthrough of the Switch 2 version of the first game. So I may start posting about that sometimes!

I played the Another Eden Begins demo. I really like the battle system of this one & I like supporting creators adapting their mobile games into a console release. That said, I’m not the biggest fan of the very horizontal back & forth layouts of this one, but I get that mobile games tend to do that.

Look, I’m a big fan, but I’m also always ready to call out stupidity, & this is the dumbest statement I’ve ever read. You’re better off to not mention the tariffs & let consumers think you’re doing a normal sale. This is just giving a negative association with what consumers have been going through.

The most damning thing of all about the Crisis Core Reunion Switch 2 port isn’t even the price, or no upgrade pack. It is, once again, no save data compatibility. I’m not doing every bit of those 13 hours all over again. I’m not strong enough to hear that much about LOVELESS again 🫩

Brilliant move to break things off with one of the most respected and acclaimed game designers of all time. Gotta leave room in the schedule for another live service game that gets cancelled within two weeks of launch.

Like seriously, it almost feels like targeted harassment at this point…look how many Capcom series were in that Direct 😭😭😭

090

✨Roxie Bianca✨ @roxie-bianca.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Oh and of COURSE they dropped Crisis Core Reunion for Switch 2 today after I already played the Switch version that looked like poopy. Oh well, no free or paid upgrade anyway. 😡

Ace Attorney will be in this Direct. There are rumors. It is also the last Direct before the 25th anniversary of the series, and the series has the longest history with Nintendo. This is both the time AND the place. In this essay I will

Imagine going back in time and telling teenage Matt Mercer that they’ll be remaking the two biggest games of the late 90s nearly 30 years later, and he gets to be in both of them. (I’m absolutely certain that’s him as Ganondorf again.)

Also, leak culture has unfortunately, taken a lot of the wind out of the sails of presentations like this. If the Zelda Switch 2 and pro controller hadn’t been leaked before, that would have been a huge deal.

0140

✨Roxie Bianca✨ @roxie-bianca.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

The Direct was pretty much what I expected it to be. I was at least hoping for some more older games to celebrate the 40th but, you can’t win em all. And shaving all of that off the general Direct gives much more to look forward to tomorrow!!

0160

This won’t age well, but final crackpot prediction…DS Classics app in the Zelda Direct, they drop Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks, Switch 2 only and you control the touchscreen with a joy-con or mouse.

If we’re mutuals and I ever like several of your posts at once, it’s probably because I sometimes don’t see posts for a while and then when you post something I like, I go to your page and start liking more posts I missed. And if that’s ever annoying, please let me know and I’ll stop. 😭

Also, very weird to me now that Hamaguchi was so cagey when asked about physical copies, when these deluxe and collector’s editions have to have been in the works for months now. Why leave people hanging like that? 🤨
