An eclectic mix of images from the Düsseldorf trip, all taken within about an hour of each other. A bit of bnw and a bit of transport. Incidentally transport is the main theme of Sunday's video on the Rowtography YT channel #dusseldorf #bnwphoto #autumn #germany #PhotoArt

Three more from the black and white series in MedienHafen, Dusseldorf. Took a trip up the tower one evening, spectacular views but a disappointing sunset. All shot on a Sony a7Rv with my fav 85mm f/1.8, a very underrated lens #bnw #PhotoArt #dusseldorf #sonyalpha

The mystery vintage lens is a Canon FD 200mm f/4.0 and it's a real handful. In my latest video I take to the streets of Dusseldorf with this lens on a Fuji X-E3. Video link in the next comment 👇📸 #photography #filmphotography

Continuing the Dusseldorf image drop, these 4 were taken on an evening stroll in MedienHafen using my travel lens fav, the Sony 85mm F1.8 They seemed to suit monochrome. #bnw #PhotoArt #dusseldorf #sonyalpha

Sometimes dawn is a disapointment. But sometimes it absolutely isn't. This was just before the sunrise yesterday morning flying over the Tyne in Newcastle. #NewcastleUponTyne #TyneBridge #DronePhotography #NorthEastEngland

Urban environments are usually wide-angle territory, but taking a long telephoto into Newcastle opens up incredible lens compression, architecture details, and framing. Link to the full article is in the comments below! 👇 #UrbanPhotography #TelephotoLens #PhotographyTips

This image was shot on the mystery vintage lens that I have been teasing. Manual focus, moving subject, small camera and a long focal length made this a challenging but rewarding shoot. The video will go out on Sunday 20th #wuppertal #vintagelenses #rowtography

Some shots from the new to me 50 year old lens. These were shot from a Fuji X-E3. It was certainly challenging but I really like the aesthetic of the image, much like I did with the 35-70mm MD. I will be doing a full video on it during my Germany trip #photograghy #Photocall

New lens, or at least a 50 year old lens that is new to me. Any guesses? Its quite a handful, manual focus, no stabilisation, nor does the camera have IBIS. Add in a 1.5 crop as well for a challenge #photography #photooftheday

This is the photo that started it all. At the age of 16 in the early 80s and with a cheap Soviet camera this won a major London photography competition. Only competition I have won, should I put “award winning” in my profile 🤣 #photo #photography
