Back home from TGS and hit 1000 subs on my personal channel! Great week for my little freelance career

Managed to get another Silksong video out before leaving for TGS. Those are some nice numbers there

My copy of @lostincult.co.uk’s lock on 006 arrived all the way in Japan—you’ll find my words on page 529! So proud to be in a collection with so many amazing writers and artists Absolutely love the accompanying art and would like to find and thank this mysterious William G

Damn Silksong vid broke 30k views on a channel that had 500 subs when this was first posted. Wish I had the time to capitalise on this with another video or two before I hit TGS

Such a shame that a lot of my friends and colleagues are still active over on X. I never had a big following myself but I really can’t stomach getting forced Musky notifications

Lowell | ローウェル @roweru.bsky.social · 21/09/2025

100 subs, 16k views, and a lot of comments and climbing from this vid. 2/3 of my best videos are about Silksong. Maybe I should send Team Cherry a gift basket

Went to bed at 5k and woke up at 12k — almost broke my personal channel record of 13k. Definitely have with 71 subscribers

000

Damn okay going to bed at 5.2k views and 27 new subs. I think that Like to views ratio is pretty great too. Wonder what I’ll wake up to

000

Damn spoke too soon. Already past 1k views, making its first 6 hour growth 10x faster than the next fastest video

Silksong: Which Route to Take – Blasted Steps or Sinner’s Road?

On the other hand, one of my Silksong videos at Gamer Guides has hit ~70k. 17 min MGS Delta guide I slaved over hit 108k. Record is still a Clair Obscur guide at 140k views Trying to up my thumbnail game, too. But my brother got all the visually artistic talent in the family

Silksong's Bilewater is Metroidvania Perfection

Been finding a little time here & there from all my video work at Gamer Guides to make short opinion pieces on the games I'm playing; this one is showing real promosing numbers early but I don't think it'll eclipse my personal record of 13k views and ~600 likes Did hit 500 subs tho

I mean, I'll take DQ7, Mario Galaxy 2, and Fire Emblem, but that was a disappointing Nintendo Direct for the hour it took

Played Neverway at BitSummit and it was a lot of fun. It ended up in my Nintendo Life roundup despite not officially being announced for Switch but here it is! Sneaky @isadora.codes & co.

I reviewed Dragon Quest 3 HD2D on PS5 and later got it for the Switch because I love portable Dragon Questing but it was rough. Happy to see the free Switch 2 update almost brings it on par with the PS5 version and definitely getting 1 & 2 on Switch 2 (unless someone pays me to play em on PS5)

this little psycho also picks the worst place to wait for me to finish working to the point where I’m paranoid to move my chair even when I know she’s not around

Lowell | ローウェル @roweru.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

One of the reasons I've waited on DK Bananza is I did this review of Pokemon Friends for Nintendo Life. Bizarre little game

Lowell | ローウェル @roweru.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

after putting off getting donkey kong bananza for literally eons I finally went to pick up a physical copy today and my local game store was sold out worst day of my life tbh

Other than hitting up BitSummit, been putting out a lot of video guides for @gamerguides.com. Flexing some new muscles -- VO, editing (sometimes), thumbnails (struggling). Wuchang vids are doing well, though: youtu.be/KqynUsYkfyE?... This one I did everything for, including the editing

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Shine Brighter On Switch 2, But Its STORY Still Has Problems

maybe this Pokemon Presents will help my Pokemon Scarlet and Violet story critique video get a bit more views as it underperformed???? youtu.be/hLHTl2pj4bU

yo who wants to pay me to go & write about PokePark Kanto

Normally I wouldn't care much about Pokemon Concierge but with a 4 month old daughter I'm excited to watch it with her someday, moreso than the anime

020

this DJ Pikachu thing they got going on for the Pokemon Presents is actually great

Here's my (what looks like yearly) list of eventual Switch games I played at BitSummit 2025! Had an absolute blast talking to the devs of these games and can't wait for 2026
