On the topic of scam emails... I think this one from "J. K Rowling" has to be my favorite.

Hi,

I hope you’re well. I’ve really enjoyed discovering your work. As a fellow storyteller, I’m always fascinated by the journeys we take, the late nights, rewrites, and cups of tea or coffee that keep our stories alive.

I write novels exploring resilience, family, and the lives of women navigating changing times. Authors like J. K. Rowling, who persevered through challenges and rejections, have been a big inspiration to me, and I’d love to hear more about your own journey as a writer, what keeps you creating and the lessons you’ve learned along the way.

Warm regards,
J. K Rowling

Authors - if a "publisher" reaches out to you with interest in your books, be very suspicious! There's a good chance it's a scam - it's easy to create a gmail and send legitimate-looking emails pretending to be someone you aren't. And even non gmail email domains can be spoofed.

Happy 5th Birthday to my dragon book discord, the Bookwyrm Lair! We've come pretty far in that time - over 2000 readers and many many dragon books. To another 5 years!

Lilith is a hybrid: she's half-human, half-dragon, and all foul mouthed. She's been held captive by her foster father for her own safety, and only knows other dragons over the Internet. She's haunted by her mother's crimes, and terrified of who she might one day become. (4/5)

Pret is Grith's cousin. He's tech-savvy and doesn't mind hiding in human form, but hopes that dragons can mingle freely with humans one day. Though he tries to use his prophetic visions to help everyone, sometimes it gets to be too much for him. (3/5)

The main character of the first book, Feathers of Gold, is Grith. After her parents disappear, she tries living a double life as both a human and dragon, but has trouble controlling her instincts and behaving the way humans are expected. (2/5)

Hi! I'm Rowan Silver, the author of Dragons and Skylines 🐉🏙️, an urban fantasy trilogy about dragons trying to live among humans. After reading shifter stories where dragons chose to be human, I wanted a book showing how dragons might struggle in human bodies and society. (1/5)
