Mausam by Kushbu Perfumery. Golden sun dances coins of light on the winding jungle path. Fresh and brightly juicy fruit dangles from dewy, luxuriant foliage— fantasy versions of rhubarb and mango. Warm cinnamon, pepper and clove scatter through the treetops and settle on velvety peridot moss.

A glass vial of Mausam perfume is on a vintage pine trunk. It’s surrounded by decorated cards about the perfume and some smooth sea glass.

Pine by @storaskuggan.bsky.social Silvery blue. Deep, dark green. Springy, soft bottlebrush needles. A sprig of mint, maybe 2 or 3. A snow shower of vanilla sugar dusts the treetops. Opalescent eucalyptus shimmers. On the mossy forest floor, a whistling gardener clips bare rose bushes.

An olive green glass bottle with an olive green spherical cap is perched on a perspex prop. There are similar shaped bottles around it; one is milky white and another has a tortoiseshell cap. The wall behind is painted pale cream.

Des Cendres spoke to me most clearly. It’s like the love child of Bandit by Piguet and Knize Ten. Green and bouncy and opulent and warmly leathery. Belle Âme I loved too. It’s a pillowy and comforting violet/orris all wrapped in spicy cocoa.
