rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 1h

its lowk become a bit frustrating that i almost wanna just go back to traditional but i rmbr i cant duplicate / undo errors ( in some cases ) hence im kinda adamant abt staying digitally. 😭

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 1h

at least, in my case, i'm particularly interested in the traditional painter-like style so it would be nice for me to experiment with a variety. textures are super yum.. i know i like square brushes but ... been having a bit of trouble with them lately that i might look around.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 1h

hot take ( apparently ? ) but i think brushes can make or break your progression in art, idk why a lot of ppl on tiktok pushes that it doesnt

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 1h

lowk need more brushes downloaded on procreate

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

i always hope it gets better in the community but anything on twitter is always bound to turn out chaotic.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

aside from being able to look at rover from a deeper perspective, it is nice to see that kuro tries to involve both rovers. shows rep for both genders which helps this whole situation a little bit.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

while that is true, i like to think there’s a little more to his character aside from that. anyway, from that alone, the mc, whom you play as, is alrdy being mischaracterized (to some extent) so i’ve alrdy “expected” this part of community to be loud and about.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

as a fan of rover having their deeper moments, unfortunately, a friend of a “friend” described rover as someone who’s unstoppable and is the greatest mc compared to any other gacha mc ever bc of the amount of glaze he gets.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

able to select the male gender, that itself further fuels the misogyny. it gives them “rep” esp in the case of the “gathering wives” perspective that wuwa has earned in the gacha space.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

i’d say it’s worse on wuwa’s end if we look at rover from a “surface level pov.” the game is highly centred around them and given the option of being—

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

on a deeper note, it is undoubtedly not unexpected. just owing to the fact that the gacha community is misogynistic itself.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 3h

reminds me the denrika fanart that got taken down smh.

rina ₊˚♬ ﾟ. @roververse.bsky.social · 4h
