you still have an "artist's choice" cm from me as a chance to draw sveinn for yourself as "work" whenever you want ...

it's scarier because these games with strong narratives that make you think "they'll never specific important/playable characters" have gotten bolder and bolder with giving characters "worse than death" fates and it makes me so anxious for her. it's so scary. it's so good

010

rouhi @rouhi.net · 25/09/2026

i messed up and didn't grocery shop this week and don't have enough money until next paycheck next week and i thought it'd be a struggle but i realized i have plenty of corn and beans and tortillas and ive been eating good after all

rouhi @rouhi.net · 25/09/2026

i loooove how "classic" her design feels... she feels like she could have been originated in an 80s/90s comic/show its so charming

rouhi @rouhi.net · 25/09/2026

whenever i haven't gotten much sleep i keep hearing the sekiro perfect parry noise whenever i do things successfully and this has been happening for years

IT IS GENIUS!!! there is like. no real reason for them to guarantee her safety the same way they have to guarantee playable character safety. there is a real tangible possibility of something happening to her despite her importance and that is so scary

010

rouhi @rouhi.net · 23/09/2026

yeah it is ultimately the worst part of gacha story telling is that there are some stakes that just will rarely ever exist for playable characters. i am also So Incredibly Anxious about paimon too and they haven't exactly been any more comforting about it ever since that point in nk

110

rouhi @rouhi.net · 23/09/2026

it is genuinely so nice that genshin straight up does not listen to their audience wrt story and character writing because it let's things actually be good lol. so many fandom complaints about characters really do just sound like they want all personality and intentional flaw ripped away

110

rouhi @rouhi.net · 23/09/2026

YEAH THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A BAD TIME it's like. lmfao. genuinely so unfortunate when a male character is shown in story but isn't given 1000000 hours of being the main focus/isn't made playable and everyone starts getting really misogynistic

110

rouhi @rouhi.net · 23/09/2026

it's funny bc i am used to like xiv's fanbase having bad takes and they're like our age and its upsetting but genshin/other story-driven gacha games having a skewed young fanbase means occasionally you'll see a really good story analysis and then you look and the person is like 22 years old max

110

rouhi @rouhi.net · 22/09/2026

there's sooooo much good in it even from what little i've been able to do and have seen from watching other friends play. i cannot believe people truly thought this story was/would be shoehorned/added last minute. it's so incredibly good and a lot was leading up to a lot of it!!!

110

rouhi @rouhi.net · 22/09/2026

it happens so infrequently too so whenever you see it you're always like "ah," right before getting a beautifully presented sequence every time and you're never sure what emotion you're going to walk out of it with

rouhi @rouhi.net · 21/09/2026

hmm nothing this time, I just find it interesting is all. there's no accusations nor teasing this time....

100

rouhi @rouhi.net · 21/09/2026

i read this and said "how interesting" out loud to myself

110

rouhi @rouhi.net · 21/09/2026

doing the story patch with a friend who was slightly ahead of me who just kept saying "oh they're killing you" ominously. they were right

rouhi @rouhi.net · 21/09/2026

if only I could !!!

100

rouhi @rouhi.net · 21/09/2026

it's still so funny how i took off time from work this year for my birthday as i usually do, started playing the wuthering waves patch that came out on the night of my first day off expecting a good time, only for them to show me a mirror of my childhood and beat me to death with rocks

150

rouhi @rouhi.net · 21/09/2026

you won't guess what happened to me today again

YES THIS ONE it's so funny

010

rouhi @rouhi.net · 20/09/2026

the one time someone put this line over a simpsons screenshot of bart like smashing chocolate into the floor or something and he responds with "would you be 'happier' if I had a 'good reason?'" made this line even funnier

130

rouhi @rouhi.net · 20/09/2026
