Sonic Frontiers was fun. Deeply flawed, god please Sega give them a budget, but hey, the ending got me all teared up. Final Horizon…can have a gold star for effort.

I started Baldur's Gate 3 about this time last year. I have finally finished it. Good game. The bugs are INSANE for it being 2 years old now, but I had fun with it. Even though I've achieved the nightmare age where 100+ hour games make me Wither (ha ha get it like the guy)

The Pokemon TCGP trading sure is a massive flop, now that I've had time to think on it. No request feature, just have to ping random people until you find a friend who has what you want. Have to pay rare currency to do it, even for commons. Big sad

Finished up this Heroines volume just in time to be free for MAGFest. Can't wait to enjoy video games while sleep deprived for a week straight

Almost a new year. This one was pretty slow for me, work-wise, and a pretty stressful one everything-else-wise, but I'm looking forward to new opportunities. I'm lucky to get to contribute to some genuinely special works by passionate authors. Happy New Year, losers!

Upon a friend’s beleaguered behests, I watched Arcane and am willing to admit it is a pretty fantastic show. Not everything clicked for me by the end, but it really is a feast for the eyes, and what does work, it works WELL. I’m interested in seeing more of this setting

I can never pick up another isekai again, because I'll never again get as lucky as I got with this one. Plot developments... Ballsy changes to the status quo... Lightning will not strike twice for me

On that note: Too Many Losing Heroines One of the first things I knew was gonna drive me crazy during my read of volume 1 was the classic "McCain" joke, which comes from the pronunciation of the series's shorthand title: マケイン (makein). Phonetically, "makein" and "McCain" are the same in Japanese.

Absolutely slammed with medical stress lately. Ext(p)ensive dental work that needs done. Procedures. Invasive surgery. Decisions to be made. Been hard to keep my head on straight with everything happening all at once
