Making the most out of this fake unemployment days (new contract goes live next week), I've built a Gunpla. 😁 This is a Forestieri 02, commando/espionage and drone swarm control mech. As always, from the 30 Minutes Mission line and lots of extra bits. #Nerdlings #Gunpla #30MinutesMissions #Bandai

So today, after an 8 months long saga of working place shenaningas and shadow-renewals of my contract, I was laid off. And re-hired in an emergency 2 hours later, as management discovered that no one else would be available to perform a service vital to keep operations running. Yes, I got a raise.

Most chaotic D&D session in years. We managed to defeat a bunch of enemies, assume their semblances, escaped a tower crumbling on our heads, change pre-planned route, sabotage our effort, get an ally kidnapped, almost kill said kidnapper and our ally, and get stuck in the middle of enemy territory.🫪

Local airport anniversary! For its 90 years of operations, a flight of historical aircrafts did a pass over the field.😍 Perfect weather too. 👍

I think the dry palette needs a proper clean up before starting painting again. 🤔

My cheap plastic dry palette, all smudged, stained and crusty with dried acrylic paints

Completed the kitbash and primed Jorvan Kreel, Heir of the (Hive Fleet) Kraken and his faithful and fierce companion, Thexa the (Purestrain) Ash Panther. 😏 Very happy with the outcome, despite being worried by the delicate sculpt of Jorvan. #Nerdlings #CitiesofSigmar #AgeofSigmar #GenestealerCults

And suddenly I want to get a Genestealer Patriarch on throne (like the old Rogue Trader era metal kit) and a Pontifex Zenestra kit. To do... stuff. 😅

I was struggling on the conversion for Jorvan Kreel, Heir of the Kraken and the Ash Panther from the Cities of Ash box, and how to integrate the couple into my GSC corrupted Cities of Sigmar force. Idea struck. I have the bits, and the panther substitute. If I manage to fit the head, hell yes. 🤟

Just ate a whole primo sale pecorino cheese. About half a pound (240 gr).🧀 Why? Because I could. And because it was delicious. 🤤🤤🤤

Finished priming second-to-last batch of my Genestealer Cults corrupted Cities of Sigmar force, all from the Cities of Ash box.🤟 Adding these to my (horrendously large) backlog of assembled&primed minis, I'm fully stoked for the whole autumn and winter.😂 Then, there's that Cogfort... 🙄

I’ve finally managed to get back to painting, so here’s some #WiPWednesday. Finished up two #Votann vehicles, a Kapricus Carrier and a Sagitaur. #LeaguesOfVotann #Wh40k #Warhammer #Nerdlings

A Leagues of Votann Sagitaur carrier. It is painted mid blue, with yellow armour panels. The canopies are in place and the vehicle is viewed from front on.

I'm trying to kitbash a Tempestus Scion Flamer into a certain Cities of Sigmar Grenadier body. Arms, and weapon, and fuel tanks won't fit unless I perform major surgery - that means sprue goo won't be enough, and I'll have the break out the greenstuff/Milliput. 1\

I do like the new dwarves. They are at the same time a new take, an old school reference, a fresh vision. Unfortunately, I can't afford starting a new army for AoS. 😒 Legion of the Damned makes for a good thematic Kill Team, but not much beyond that, IMHO. Looks like a good set, though. 👍 1\

Finally managed to persuade my gaming group to try some TTRPG system outside the AD&D/d20 ecosystem (7 out of 8 are 50+ y.o. so not an easy feat, I can assure you). Next month we're going Paleomythic! So stoked! #Nerdlings

Genestealer Cults corrupted Cities of Sigmar Gallants team, from the Cities of Ash box. Nice kit, rich in options. Blue stuff near the neck is sprue goo for an easy head attachment. Pleasantly surprised by how little mould lines there were. #Nerdlings #CitiesofSigmar #GenestealerCults #AgeofSigmar

Assembled team of Gallants from the Cities of Ash box, in the style of my Genestealer Cults corrupted Cities of Sigmar force - basically head swaps, arms and details where needed.

I can't even chuckle anylonger to certain AI generated propaganda stunts, posted on social platforms by politicians. I get instantly annoyed. I get even more annoyed wondering if there is an actual public for that stuff. Shortly afterwards, sadness sets in.

In the next 24 to 36 hours, we should finally have the (in)famous "summer ending rainstorms", that will bring temperatures down to a more humanly survivable value - from 4 to 6 C degrees. I am stoked for this to happen almost to a "gullible" level, only because it's been 3 months of pure hell. 😓

As this summer heat doesn't want to end and prevents me from painting, I've gone berserk on building Gunpla. 😂 This is a Full Armour Alto that sports a handful of extra gribblies from various other kits. 😏 This model was an absolute joy to assemble. 🤩 #Nerdlings #Gunpla #Bandai #30MinutesMissions

Folded like a wet rag, and bought two clear plastic articulated supports for my Gunpla, a couple of which are a bit top-heavy and put a lot of strain on the hip/knee joints. They deserve to stand or pose as flying in a proper way. 😎
