An endless 77min. It is agonizing. A masterpiece.

Kind of a haunting masterclass in using people’s words against them.

Final Social Reckoning thought: Betty Gilpin gets like two scenes, which is unfortunate because she’s the closest Sorkin has come to writing CJ Cregg again.

There are two moments when the Sorkin of it all comes screaming out: -"Mansplaining" rejoinder -Jeremy Allen White taking Mikey Madison by both hands and saying, "You're so mean. Like scary mean. Don't be so mean."

I am 90% sure that Aaron Sorkin made The Social Reckoning so that he could finally give his thoughts on the term "mansplaining."

Way better than I thought it would be but impossible to fully buy in a post-Digger world.

Sorkin is still a pretty bad director but he got his fastball back on the script.

I would not be the writer that I am without the work of Aaron Sorkin, or weird stuff like reviewing movies in college and ending up in an elevator with him during Social Network press. Any way, time to see how washed my goat is.

Watching the John Adams miniseries is tough as a 1776 fan because you spend the second episode loudly asking "Why isn't anyone singing?" and "Why aren't the southern delegates doing a fancy little waltz during a ditty about triangular trade?"

The Omen is obviously the best movie of the franchise, but Damien - Omen II is the best Omen Movie of the franchise. It's a version of The Rocky/Rocky IV Paradox

Rewatched CARRIE and I think Sissy Spacek is allowed to get away with at least one crime because of how good she is in that film.

I don’t think this is a perfect film, but there’s something about the imperfections that make it even stronger. A flawed, powerful movie about seeing your father as a flawed, powerful man.

I was going to say PRIMETIME felt like Todd Haynes making a Michael Mann movie but then remembered DARK WATERS is basically already that.
