Culture @ the Canal is always a cool event, if you're in #Louth #Lincolnshire on Saturday.
A flier for Culture @ The Canal. This is an annual event in Louth at the Navigation Warehouse, for an afternoon of live music, heritage, and ice cream. Saturday, 12th September from 12 noon to 5pm. There's a heritage talk by Stuart Sizer at 12 noon, live music from 1pm to 5pm, ice cream from Bensley's, a Pimms bar and food from the nearby Woolpack Inn. The address is the canal warehouse and platform, The Riverhead, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 0DA. The event is free. The poster features images of the pub, ice cream with sprinkles, people playing guitars and singing, and a crowd outside the warehouse. It's presented by Louth Navigation Trust and Zero Degrees. This poster has been designed by humans, with real images of the venues and a clear, uncrowded layout.

Horncatle Hub's car park solar. The Labour group has been calling for this for at least 13 years, so it's fab to finally see it happen. The Hub, incidentally, that is central to the new Rural Lincs unitary and can accommodate up to 100 councillors with a fire warden. #Lincolnshire
The superb sight of a row of solar panels under construction behind a fence on a bit of car park abutting onto a grassy area.

I'm doing a reading tomorrow. #Louth
A poster for Fireside Tales at the Boar's Head, 12 Newmarket, Louth. Stories of the eerie and uncanny, the speculative and supernatural. 29.4.26, Beltaine Eve, 7pm start. The image features a spooky circle with a bunch of runes. Dr Kate Cherrell, John W. Ashbrook, Ian Gouge, Sheri Young, and Ros Jackson. The dead won't wait.

Got a new lens for my phone!
A macro image of a shiny ladybird on a frayed leaf. You can see the tiny fronds on its mouth, which I'm not sure if they are teeth or something else. They do apparently bite if they get thirsty enough, I'm told.

This is how stylish.
A purple felt cover with a green felt dragon with a silver pupil wearing tiny wee chains on its ear scales because it is metal as hell and not going to any of your pretentious fashionista parties when there's gold to hoard, victims to flame, and unsuspecting comic fantasy worlds to bend to its will.

There was a really useful event at the Meridian Leisure Centre in #Louth #Lincolnshire today, centred around older people's health and falls prevention. I picked up a lot of info that I can pass to residents.
Seven leaflets on a desk. One is for Connecting People for Wellbeing - Social Prescribing, another for Volunteering; another for Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society; one for Caring for someone with dementia by Age UK; another for Lincolnshire Carers Service: Here to help; a second social prescribing leaflet; and a Steady Steps one which says Move and Improve. They were some of the leaflets available at the event at the Meridian Leisure Centre, which was for older people with an emphasis on falls prevention.

It was great to be outside today with Labour party friends, and the sleet held off. We had plenty of conversations with the people of Louth about their concerns for the area. #Lincs
An image of three people outdoors, wearing coats and hats, against the backdrop of a tree. A couple are wearing red Labour stickers, and the one in the middle has a steampunk style bowler hat with goggles.

This is Frank, and he loves his frisbee.
Frank, a small dog, leaps up to grab a red frisbee and catches it in his mouth. He's totally focused on the frisbee because it's his favourite thing, with the possible exception of barking at squirrels.

Is this a bee fly, Bsky?
A bee-like insect with a long proboscis on a white background, drinking from a drop of water. It has one set of wings.
