My other half did the at home version and it wasn’t bad…. Minus the serious high rate of problems it found. I highly recommend doing the test any way they will let you. Oxygen loss while sleeping is serious. 😢

2. Take on hard problems where you do NOT know all the answers but have enough skills and support to figure them out. The first gives you access to knowledge and advice you otherwise wouldn't know existed. The second forces you to grow rapidly while doing your job.

Huge +1 to this. I have not used products that look cool because their marketing material says they “Pass the grandma test”. Insulting older women’s or anyone’s tech intelligence is not a good move. At my age I could be a grandma and my grandma used to teach her peers about using the internet.

Favorite positive comment from my 6 month review: “Willing to ask ‘dumb’ questions.” Part of the staff+ role is being comfortable asking the question everyone is thinking but is afraid to say because it might sound dumb. Or the question that challenges some basic idea everyone assumes is correct.
