Having a homebrew campaign and making art for every character is getting torturous. Makes you wonder if it's worth the faff. This is Meryl Prestor, Watch Dog PMC commander, and the Valmar Quadruped Siege Tank

Honorable mentions to Read or Die, Cowboy Mipmep, FMA Brotherhood, Nichijou and Toradora, but these are the cream 'o the crop. Do yours here: my9animes.com/en show them to me show them to me nowww

I need more games like V Rising and Palworld: games that are big on building and fighting. I am open to suggestions.

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

extra funny is the times the actual main character gets to be there as a guest party member/sidekick

my sole motivation for ever wanting to get into modding is so I can make mods that only work for roes, hrothgar, and lalafell but then spite might not be the best reason to pursue something B)

Two more dnd baddies; Lancaster and Monarch, members of Valmar's special forces, the Providence Unit.

Crucible shares the distinction with ultimates of making me think that maybe I'm too stupid to play this game lmao

111

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

My bastard is made of all these bastards The biggest source of inspo for Rosetti was actually deciding her dnd class was barbarian. It all kinda fell into place after that.

Case in point: this is the only gif from Flash that shows up if you type 'dirty pair flash' into the gif search. All the others are from Dirty Pair, lmao

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Quote this with a gif of your first anime ever Dirty Pair Flash. Very much forgotten compared to the OG Dirty Pair, but I love them both. Technically, my first was probably Samurai Pizza Cats, but DPF is the first media I clocked as 'this is anime'. Also my gateway drug into the cyberpunk genre.

A combination of being love bombed a few too many times and a little too much lalafell hate make me wary Then there's anxiety, misanthropy, and a chronic condition that makes me tired and grumpy all the time Yeah, I don't really get outside my bubble much any more Not sure there's any fixing that

Happy birthday!! You will be moogled (this is a threat)

110

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

you see we had to cut the straight romance it's a lot of work and if we add this one straight couple we have to then write a version for every possible straight couple and that sounds hard and woke

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Only game I like fumbles is shadowrun. A glitch happens rarely but you can still pass the check you're rolling for. 'You succeed but in a really fucked up way' has resulted in some amazing scenarios. Or comedy

150

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

'It's a bad one, cap'n. The game master is getting out the scatter chart and a shitload of d6's and looking way too pleased with hisself'

ok I'm getting around to kingdom hearts 3 and why does sora need the power of waking when he has the power of extremely deadly theme park rides

The article feels kinda reductive in a way I cannot fully articulate. I can articulate that one of the big appeals of TTRPGs is how much interplay your 'build' can have with your character as a character. But then I'm never one for minmaxing. I want stuff that informs who my character is.

130

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

playing as a dude and having to put up with the 'wacky' creepy highschool boy antics has always been a deep compromise to me enjoying the persona series.

030

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Trying to determine which version of persona 3 I should actually stick with: the quality of life smoothness of Reload, or the compromised but you-can-be-girl of Portable. I'll be real, I don't really care about the workload involved in adding Girl to Reload: her omission sucks shit.

130

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

I know how insane the cognitive dissonance is here but as someone who grew up playing games obviously by men for men this is really funny even playing old baldur's gate is 'yes, you can be a girl, but we're dudes writing this as if you're a dude'

170

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

You already picked the best one :)

Some DnD antagonists. Members of Valmar's secretive Providence Unit, dispatched to Libertalia to retrieve... something. One of them is not a headshot, okay. I'm not inclined to do fullbodys for a bunch of guys who are likely going to die 20 minutes after being introduced :)

forgot I'm in a draw steel oneshot tonight, so I scribbled this very smelly technically-an-elf.

Rosetti @rosetti.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

I liked Rogue Trader a lot, but I don't think I'm doing a full playthrough of that one again lmao I was so ready for it to be over after 120 hours.

I'm liking the system a lot now I've GM'd a couple of sessions. Combat is exciting, and it's got surprisingly robust social and skill-based systems.

For clarity, in case you're not sure what I'm about. LGBTQI rights are important. Trans rights are important. Womens rights are important and not mutually exclusive. If one group doesn't have human rights, none of us do. Rowling is a mold-riddled monster. Amensty International are cowards.
