lighting/rendering studies i made wayyyyyy back in 2018. i was trying to emulate the brushstrokes of traditional painting on a digital setting

A black-and-white digital painting of a nude woman, framed from right under the eyes to the hips, which she is swaying to the left. She has an arm up framed out of view, and the other close to her chest, with her fingers close to her mouth.

A colored digital painting of a nude woman, framed from right under the eyes to the chest. She is turned to the side and holds an apple close to her face, like it's something precious.

"Something’s… different. Either a transformation has taken place, or — no. Now, your eyes are truly open, sharp, without the gaussian blur of idealisation. Before you stands a Damsel reconstructed." Fanart of the #slaytheprincess fanfic "She Conducts This Rapture", by GettingMetaphysical on AO3.

"The Princess’ dress is intensely creased over her backside and legs, where she sat on it for who knows how long. Her skin is pale grey marble, stark with steel veins and jagged white stretch marks. These marks are lightning bolts across the sky of her large, heavy bosom. Fat folds and spills under her soft arms. The hair on them catches in the light and grant her a fuzzy glow. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. In her face, especially around the eyes, smile lines and crow’s feet. Her forehead shines with sweat. She wipes it with the front of her skirt.

Okay, one thing is actually different. Before, her head hair reached her shoulder blades. Now, it meets her thighs. This cape of platinum spills over the back of her skirts like a misplaced bustle."

let it out #art #f&h #fearandhunger

A digital painting of The Girl, D'arce, Cahara, Enki, Ragnvaldr and Moonless from Fear & Hunger.

The Girl stands in the middle of the frame, crying large Ghibli-like tears. D'arce is kneeling on her right and embracing her with a remorceful expression. Cahara is kneeling on the left of The Girl, smiling and holding her hand. Ragnvaldr is behind the three of them, arms shielding them while he looks at The Girl with a worried expression. Next to him is Enki, who looks away with a disinterested look, but resting a gentle hand on the crown of The Girl's head. Moonless is in front of all of them, crouched towards The Girl.

Looming behind them, barely visible in the darkness, is The God of Fear & Hunger.
