Rereading a bit and had a mundane observation I wasn't expecting, and that's that based on the sprites it looks like Mafuyu is taller than her mother? Especially when she actually stands up straight I think any fanart I've seen has just assumed her mom was taller but I'd question that

Ena's reaction is huh??? Stop screwing with me! (Bc that makes no sense??) Because like, it doesn't, except for the fact that it makes perfect sense because Mafuyu is plural, which I'm sure the original writers had decided on already but the EN translators probably didn't know. Here's the context:

This line from ch 7 of main story has bugged me for a while, bc the EN TL is so different. I'd translate it literally as, "The me that's not Yuki doesn't want to say anything to you" or slightly less literally, "The me that's not Yuki doesn't have anything to say to you."

"Mafuyu" is labeled as ??? and is saying: 雪じゃない私は、あなたと話したいことなんてないから (translated above)

The official EN TL messed up this line in Mizu2. The line circled in red is wrong. It should be "It's not like I absolutely have to tell them about me." Insert that in for the circled line, and then read the rest of it, which is correct. Doesn't that make so much more sense?

Mizuki: You guys...

Mizuki: [incorrect line] I have to tell them. They need to know about me. [Corrected version:] It's not like I absolutely have to tell them about me.

Mizuki: Because that's just who I am.

Mizuki: It's not like I have to prove this to anyone...

Clearly defining 共生 as meaning "symbiosis" is also crazy. I love that. I kind of hoped that was the intended meaning but I went with "coexisting." The full line is 共生どうせ明日も曇天, which I translated as something like "we're coexisting, and tomorrow is also going to be cloudy" But (cont.)
