I've spent the better part of the year working on this, but it's really the outcome of a decade of work dating back to the Paradigm Project. The key question then was how do we build a better, more durable, more impactful evidence system. The Blueprint gives us a point from which to start.

Strong endorse for this line of thinking. I worked the polls 2020-24 and learned SO MUCH about the existing safeguards. I love it, and can bore you with a full treatise on how Virginia's elections are secure. (I missed 2025 because life got in the way and I missed the deadline to renew my oath.)

We urgently need to restore distinction between "political" and "partisan" ("party-political"). Science is political and must engage with Politics and Politicians if we want evidence-informed policies (a political, not scientific, choice). Like "Soviet physics", there is no partisan science.
