#ff14_OC It definitely depends on the situation. Ériu is very cautious if said person was to break promise, especially those that done worse things

Reunion with an ol’ traveling companion Pt 2 (Read alt for context)

Sorry for the wall of text, it really got me thinking so much since that day, getting to read up on his speech in StB again Really got me thinking of his thought process and seeing how my WoL reacts to this This speech in particular has been ingrained in my head,,,

Hell of a wall of text but this was the speech from Zenos within the Royal Menagerie
Getting to screenshot this part really got me thinking and really glad I got to read up on it from getting to StB on my alt

Though again, despite what Zenos said, Ériu has a bit of denial of his words, she lives to help her people and she wants to prove that she’s not the monster he claims her to be his equal, but deep down those words will likely stick with her to a bitter end…

Like how bad it turns out to be, for that man to compare yourself to him, live to fight… It’s a bit of an irony for someone like her who lived as a healer do more harm than good, even if she’s unaware of it…

But it gets harder to deny that she’s gotten really strong and…useful…feared by her enemies… Ériu want to deny it, but deep down, since she became the Warrior of Light, she really has gotten stronger and hearing Zenos’ words kinda hit something within her, even for a moment…

How she’s glorified as the brute force, the warrior feared even by the Garleans themselves Hydaelyn’s chosen who can befell primals, who grows stronger while the enemies fear her existence… She doesn’t want to believe that, she wanted to help people with her capabilities,,,—

And you know what, I felt,,, he was sort of right about her, as a Warrior of Light I don’t she really got the memo at first when he spout them from their final confrontations in Ala Mhigo, but I can feel when Zenos makes that comparison, something in her subconscious made her realize things—

#ffxiv_OC Man,,, I was just thinking back to this line few days ago when I went through StB again, and getting to hear Zenos compare himself to WoL really got my gears turning To how Ériu felt about the way he sees her as his “equal”, fighting for glory, as a warrior, feeling eikons and the likes—

#ff14_OC Ériu has not, but often she feels like she would have, maybe a bit curious what they think of her Maribella on the other hand, she has her adopted grandfather around who has been her biggest inspiration to becoming a Goldsmith She's very close with him

RoseGarden @rosemarystuff.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Maribella doesn't mind being BST but she feels BLU is more of her thing being a caster than a tamer

#ff14_OC I feel they're definitely canon, more on the fun side of things Especially when it interests more for Ériu than Maribella Because at least Ériu gets to interact with the beasties, especially with Cu Sith 🥺

#ff14_OC Ériu Tank: Dark Knight no doubt Healer: White Mage easily Phys DPS: so many options but I feel Bard is an easy pick Magic DPS: Red Mage most likely Maribella Tank: Paladin Healer: Scholar Phys DPS: MCH or MNK Magic DPS: she'll switch around with them, but most likely SMN or BLM

Heck, I even had done a random sketch of Maribella dressed like me one time It was for a trend but I never got to post it

The sketch in question with Maribella sitting on a couch, reading an open book in her hand, dressed casually with black loose pants and a shirt with various dinosaurs imprinted on it (yes I do have that shirt)
