We're going on tour! We have tour dates up on our website!

We are removing Roselit Bone from Spotify - in protest of their ongoing exploitation of independent artists, its embrace of AI-generated content and "ghost" artists, and its CEO Daniel Ek’s investment in Helsing AI—a company developing AI-powered military technology. /🧵

Practicing our harmonies for our show at Gasa Gasa in New Orleans this Saturday 5/24. Our last show was the debut live singing debut for both Faith and Pax and they (and John!) sounded lovely together.

One of our favorite artists in New Orleans, Susan Bowers, was giving away some art and we took home these little guys. Anyway come see us as a five-piece (with new members) at Okay Bar on 5/2! It's free and we play at midnight after all the other shows happening that night.

Unfortunately, we've just been informed there will not be space on the stage for an opener for the May 1 and May 2 shows. We apologize to anyone who bought tickets to see us but we still encourage everyone to go see Low Cut Connie, they're great!

Saw PJ in Portland, she played her whole new album first and it was one of the most visionary live shows I've seen. I thought the audience was being receptive until she kicked into "Man Size" or some shit and everyone went fuckin' CRAZY. A "fan" yelled at her for not saying hi to the audience.

Walked to my pharmacy in New Orleans and found all these in the local book box (not pictured, an illustrated history of modern art and a book from the 40's on engraving). I love it here.

Asked a music festival to remove a clause in our contract that required promotion on specific social media sites, due to the fascist/transphobic turn of Twitter and Meta. They changed the contract for us and are considering changing the clause entirely in the future. These little things matter.

New Orleans is thawing and it's finally warm enough in our house to get out of bed. Yesterday I (Charlotte) spent 8 hours recording bodhran and flute parts, today I'm finally finishing some leather belt and strap orders while Faith @bonechinadesigns.bsky.social sculpts porcelain wall art.

Our only shows booked so far this year are May 1 and 2nd at Siberia in New Orleans opening for @lowcutconnie.bsky.social When we opened for them at Treefort they carried a real piano up the stairs before their set. This commitment to the real shit is the kind of energy we're bringing into 2025.

Hi Bluesky! We left Twitter when the transphobic capitalist pig dweeb took over. We are now trying to pivot away from Instagram and other Zuckerberg products for the same reasons. If you like undefinable but often apocalyptic, generally "western" music with a post-punk vein please give us a follow!
