A lot of devices (mostly phones) have been implementing that at a system level for pulling text out of screenshots and stuff. If you're curious as to how, go read about OCR! The tech has existed for awhile but machine learning has made it WAY better and easier on CPUs.

Just when you thought Moonfangs was the end of it... Avali time sketchpage for @oneiralchroma.bsky.social !

A feathered, dinosaur-like creature is displayed on a yellow background several times. They are blue-and-purple with four ears, a long, feathery tail, and they wear big round glasses. In one image, they pose cutely with one hand behind their head as they shrug sheepishly. In another image, they stare cluelessly towards the viewer, one finger pressed to their nose in a puzzled stare. In another image, they are floating ambiguously in the space, expression friendly and body language happy to see something not shown. The final image shows them with their head pointed straight up and fingers laced, saying "AWAWA" for no particular reason.

this place is real and I have a spray bottle to prove it. watch out. a PineconePaladin comic commission www.furaffinity.net/view/65866094/

three panels of a comic strip:
1. I'm a human climbing carefully across a stream
2. I slip and fall into the stream with a splash
3. I'm pulling myself out of the stream, soaking wet from my torso down. "Awwwh DAMN. Sigh. Happens." A tail is visibile behind me in the water...

#furry #furryart #transfur #transformation #tf #manedwolf

six panels of a comic strip:
1. I emerge shakily from the stream and my legs are furry, digitigrade, soaking wet maned wolf legs. A soggy tail hangs behind me
2. I flop down onto the ground, startled, staring at my furry legs. "Oh-- WHAT the--"
3. My eyes light up and my jaw drops as I hold up one of my feetpaws. "OOOH my G--"
4. I eagerly pull up my shirt to see fur spreading up my torso
5. Kneeling and wagging my tail aggressively, I raise my fists in victory, shouting "YESS!!" I have fangs...
6. My clothes go flying through the air as I toss them away

#furry #furryart #transfur #transformation #tf #manedwolf

three panels of a comic strip:
1. I'm trying to stand on all fours, still mostly human from the chest up and wobbling a bit, looking down between my arms at my back paws. "Oop-- okay--"
2. My hands have become paws and my quadrupedal stance has stabilized. Only my head is still semi-human; the rest is a maned wolf. "There we go! Okay!"
3. Finally fully transformed, I jump excitedly back and forth, all over the place. Boing boing boing!

#furry #furryart #transfur #transformation #tf #manedwolf

one panel of a comic strip:
Worked up from all my excited jumping around, my tongue hangs out the end of my snout as I pant and wag my tail happily. "Huff huff" "Oh my god NOBODY is gonna believe me!"

Made a lil design for noodle stickers! Gonna try and get some made to give out at Denfur. Amphimorpho species made by @tuxedodragon.bsky.social #ApolloKalarArts

A sticker design consisting of a green circle with three white amphimorphos mirrored in a tiangular shape, their tails forming a circle around them. Mimicking the therian theta-delta combined symbol. Surrounding the design is text reading "no thoughts, just noodle"

I want to add that I'm not trying to put down anyone's work here! I'm just a technical artist that LOOOOVES having shiny new tools to play with. I know that the renderer is one of the next things on the list and I can't wait to see how it expands in the future :3

200

rosebur @rosebur.com · 26/06/2026

I'm no expert on rendering tech and optimization, but as an artist who's been able to play around with stuff like light volumes in VRC, and all the fun looks you can get with different shaders, it leaves resonite's renderer feeling stale by comparison.

110

rosebur @rosebur.com · 26/06/2026

Maybe this is different now that the unity sdk exists, but when I played there was a clear gap between the few creators that knew ways to bake static lighting with external tools, and everyone else. Reflection probes, point lights, and screenspace AO can only do so much.

210

rosebur @rosebur.com · 25/06/2026

IK has been my biggest pain point, followed by world lighting and shaders. Having the hips behave well and the extra flexibility for stuff like digi IK will be enough for me to at least return and poke around, hopefully drag some friends along.

rosebur @rosebur.com · 25/06/2026

this thought wasnt originally meant for #makeaterriblecomicday2026 but the timing allowed me to put even less effort into it anyways i love pride i love being a queer creature on the internet and i love you!

crudely drawn 4 panel comic of my amphimorpho sona

panel 1: holding a pansexual pride flag with their mouth
panel 2: "I feel like I'm missing something..." the flag falls out as they speak
panel 3: close up on their brainless expression with a rainbow macos loading pinwheel behind them
panel 4: the pan flag is back in their mouth (somehow), and their tail is coiled around a much larger genderfluid pride flag
