I don't think he understands; he doesn't have to come out and support Palestine, or even criticise Israel. Not every artist has to be political. His problem was that he let other people throw his friend and support act off the tour for saying "Free Palestine". Awful decision

They didn't actually sell the UK battleships. They sold them (at high cost in land, money and interest) a bunch of WWI destroyers, which were mostly for anti submarine use. Yeah, they entered the war because Germany declared war on USA, otherwise they'd have sat back and seen how it played out
