I wonder when it started that you were unable to announce the sex of your baby without the whole thing being derailed into transphobic comments...

I could watch Gary Stevenson interview rich folk for hours. They all come out with such weird takes, like the guy who said that farmers owning their own land is a fantasy. If there's ever been evidence that we need something to help wealth inequality, its this.

My adventures in Linux have progressed, got my audio interface completely working, and my favourite guitar amp sim installed. I think that's the hard bit over. Probably going to dual boot when it comes to it, cos I do have a lot of windows-centric stuff in place atm. A lot less scary than it seemed!

The Social Media ban is Digital ID by the backdoor, forcing everyone to ID themselves or not use the internet. No one wants this garbage, and it won't protect anybody from anything.

Had a great time at a local open mic held at the cat cafe - I'm not familiar with live poetry but some of the spoken word acts were amazing with some heavy words. Its always fun playing live solo guitar, though I did play a few numbers with some singers too. Need to do a lot more of that!

Not sure if it's just my doctor but theres no bigger sign of the NHS being absolutely destroyed than "we can't take a call or discuss, we can only offer one singular phone consultation in 3 weeks with no option to pick a different day if that one day doesn't suit".

Labour stand for one thing to everyone - to protect the super rich. @greenparty.org.uk will cut bills, bring public services back into public hands, and protect our NHS. Labour takes cash from oil & gas, gambling, and the arms trade. Make your choice. 👉🏼 Join.greenparty.org.uk

There's a thing in solo guitar\fingerstyle guitar youtube where you get copyright strikes from random dudes who have covered the same song as you. Wonder how they're justifying using content ID to claim for songs that aren't theirs.

Today I learned what Diplacusis is. After a period of a few hours experiencing it, I truly hope it doesn't return. I saw my entire life just disappear because even listening to music was impossible, let alone playing it due to two differing pitches in my ears. Time to live in fear 😅
