It was fun seeing my two painted Avatars last night at a friend's house, I had to snap some comparison pics! This is what 7 years of progress looks like! Honestly I am still kinda impressed with the gems and heat coming off the horns of the old Avatar!

Finished my little bits of customisation for my Saturnine Praetor and got some paint on him last night! He's gonna be my Chapter Master and Calgar proxy for my 40K army! I wonder if people can pick out what i actually did to him?

Before after pics of today's work on the Avatar of Khaine commission! Outside of airbrushing the base coats which was done another day a solid 80% of today's work was done with a sponge! ##warhammer40k #avatarofkhaine

GodDAMN the demo disc for CICADAMATA" out for NEXTFest is cool. Intense Cyberpunk time attack shooter with a wick drum n bass OST and a sick as hell art style reminiscent of the upcoming Marathon but made by indie devs. Also you play as a cyber robot bunnygirl, so thats rad as hell. Try it out!

Finally done with my Vespids! Had such an amazing time painting these little gals! lots of fun with the airbrush building up a fun colourshift effect with Contrasts over silver metallic, and the contrasting effect of the gloss varnished carapace and matte wings/weapons is really fun too!

Looks great! The one thing I can say about the yellow is that the one effect that'll give it more texture and "industrial vibes" is just using a little bit of sponge and dabbing on some dark brown to the corners and edges, then poking in some steel inside that brown in parts! Instant chipping!

*GRABS YOU BY THE HEAD AND SHAKES YOU AROUND* OH my god Wib I have been waiting my entire life for this! Fr tho, definitely have a look at the free rules for Alpha Strike as well as Classic. They're two different game systems for different styles and scales of games, but both equally fun to play!

Oh I totally forgot I painted up my Stormtroopers I won at Victorious '25 a few weeks ago! Went right down the @sonicsledgehammer.bsky.social path with some thinned Agrax and then panel highlighting with Corax White, worked an absolute treat! Always recc Troy's tutorials on YT! ❤️

Still really happy with this piece of terrain I painted recently for a friend! I've been wanting to paint it since it was revealed and getting to try out the wet wipes as a mask for marble effects was really fun! #killteam #miniatures

If grey is what you're looking for then I've got a 'grey'-t one to show off!! Really fun Stormsurge model I painted up for a friend as a joint present for his birthday, now the centrepiece of his army!

Two newest marines to add to the army. Some day eventually I'll get a 3rd and actually be able to run a squad on 40K, but for now at least I can run one of them in Kill Team haha #40k #hobby

Very close to done with the Caiman MBT! Been having an absolutely wonderful time with this model, despite resin being an absolute nightmare to work with sometimes. 🫠 Today I'll get the mud and earth onto the treads and then its varnish and done! #3dprinting #miniatures

Don't believe the rumours, I'm not dead! As proof, have some close to done WIPs of my Eridani Light Horse 71st Regiment forces coming together! Got to finally start laying down the decals on these guys, the final touches for them to be completed! Soon they will all be beautiful #battletech

Progress on my new Bladeguard! Trying to get them done this weekend for a game next week. I recently wrote up and tested out an Alternating Actions system that works for me for 40K, and had a test game of it last week which went great! But we were both play shooty armies so a melee test is up next!

The Death Guard army commission is finished! Been a few months of work but having them all painted, based, and varnished has really been a great way to finish off the month, so I celebrated with a little Army of Parade display photoshoot! Soon I can paint more mechs too 😋 #deathguard #nurgle #40k

Work on Mortarion is wrapping up! Did his windlgs yesterday and today, with an oil panel wash and then some airbrushing today low and slow for the glow effects down the wings! SoonTM he will be complete, maybe even tomorrow? Who's to say?

First company of the Eridani Light Horse 71st Strikers Regiment is done! I definitely want more light mechs in my force, as combined with the second company that's yet unpainted I only have 5 light mechs I think?

RoroMinis 💫The Promised Land💫 @rorominis.bsky.social · 04/03/2025

Honestly amazing the difference some clean-up and detailing around the cockpits of these mechs can do. It always gives such a prime result!

Stupid idiot green battlemechs, with no cockpit cleanup done to the models.

Beautiful, iconic green battlemechs with nicely detailed and cleaned up cockpits.

Alright I'm done with my camo scheme tester model and I'm quite happy with it overall! This is the scheme I'm going to do for all of my ground vehicles from the Mercenaries KS, something I can relax and have fun with a few models at a time between projects. Its based on one of Arclight Minis pieces

Finally done with my repaint of my Octarius terrain! Went for a much simpler, more stylised theme this time around since I wanted to try this drybrushing lighting style I've seen before! Airbrushed fluoro red and then drybrushed orange and yellow with a white edge highlight on top!

Got to gloss varnishing my Battlesuit Commander today and while i had the airbrush out I decided to redo my Kill Team terrain I've had for ages and never liked my first pass at. Going for a more impressionistic style with some strong core colours to make it pop! Vallejo fluro red is gorgeous! 😍 😍

Who better to fill the weather theme than Storm herself? Commission from a couple years back now, still my favourite I've done in terms of trying to evoke a very specific type of clothing, that being very tight fitting early 2000s leather!
