This 8% EV market share hides a 50% YoY in EVA sales in Italy, so not so bad. Italy is quite a weird place, because I’ve always get there the best deals to rent an electric car. This one is for 4 days, Friday to Monday. Less than 14€/day, cheaper than riding an Uber from the airport to my hotel.

Rango y velocidad de carga están bien, para las versiones de 77kWh o más. Prestaciones, bien y muy espacioso y confortable. Lo que no puedo es con la manía del grupo VW de poner frenos traseros de tambor a todo, aunque sean casi 300cv y más de 2Tm. ¡Hasta las bicis llevan ya todas frenos de disco!

You can also see it the other way, registering the average monthly prices of fuel, the average price each month in my utility bill and see the result after 4 years and 120,000km. Petrol €14,672, electricity €2,594 I would have paid more than 5 times more with my old gas car!

As oil crosses above $100 per barrel, many ICE drivers will get severe range anxiety, because some say “I don’t care about petrol prices, I always put €20 in my tank”, well, with a fuel economy of 6l per 100km and petrol at €2/l €20 will get you only 167km of range.

So China is soon headed to sell more EVs than the whole number of cars sold in US. IDK how people can justify to keep pouring money into ICE cars.
