The demo can be found on Itch: magetec.itch.io/roots-of-a-k... Please note that this a heavily limited early version. You can only play roughly two hours per world. The goals to win the game are not achievable in this preview and it is still very much unbalanced. But at least.. it runs :)

I feel you.. Though this is a bit strange.. on my dayjob i am a PLC programmer working on numerous platforms, numerous companies and machines.. yet game development is a different beast when it comes to automating the most basic stuff as CI and pushing releases..

Sounds like an interestering idea.. shortly before the Steam Next fest i want to open my #kickstarter campaign and right now i am finishing my (tech)demo... So if you want to give a small colony builder a chance - I'd be happy to give you the demo. Only problem: I dont have a steam page yet.

a nice but hard game as i felt it playing Banished. Of having the joy of baiting goblins and ogres into traps that i had when playing Gnomoria and creating a self sustaining colony with unique entities that i had in Rimworld. This is what kept me doing this for over a year now..
