Accidentally double paid a credit card statement balance yesterday, and Capital One has little interest in helping me correct the issue. After a one week review, they'll mail me a check for my credit balance, but won't refund the entire extra payment. I guess it's their turn to hold my money.

15 years ago, this boy showed up during a brutal stretch of winter. Found the owner, who suggested he'd be happier with us. We'd never been cat people, but our 4 and 7 year old boys were very keen to try. After 15 years of being the best cat, he is due to depart the earthly plane today. RIP Onyx.
