Only this. One time investment. Pure down, organic cotton, with a real silk pillowcase. It will last a lifetime, just throw it in the wash. Comes out of the dryer all fluffy and fresh. Have to hand wash the pillowcase and hang to dry. Only problem is you have to bring it with you when you travel.

Here is the finished dress after I dyed it and altered it to fit me better. It was an amazing party with 200+ people dressed as a musical era or icon. We did 70’s. Dolly was there, Willy, Jerry, 90’s ravers, Elton John, Elvis…anything you can think of. People BROUGHT IT. What a grand time..

Stirred in the bath for 35 minutes. Now it’s all rinsed out and ok, I am VERY happy with anything close to this! Now I have to throw it in the wash. I can’t wait to see it in the morning when it’s dry.

I’m going to an elaborate costume party on Saturday where I get to dress as a musical decade. I’m doing 70s. I have this amazing polyester dress, but it’s the worst color ever. I’m experienced in dying natural fibers, but not synthetics. I’ll be happy with anything from mint green to navy blue. 👀

This video of the youth just hanging out and raging up at the upper Red Rocks lot in the 1980’s is so amazing I’ve watched it like 20x’s. What an awesome little piece of history, just so rad.😍 My mom’s sister was a teen when I was a kid and she used to say “Party hardy”. (@storiesfromgenx on Insta)
