I've been photocopying some very old Letrasets that belonged to my mum, and blow me if this knight isn't A Mood:

a drawing of a dejected looking knight. his back is towards us, and he has a slumped posture, and is using his pike in his left hand to steady himself. his helmet is in his right hand, but he seems ready to drop it on the ground.

I finished the needle punching! it took about six hours, and doesn't have a steep learning curve, though I wish the instructions had been better written (among other things). but I only paid a fiver for the kit, and you get what you pay for

a needle punched design of some vaguely arts and craftsy flowers in yellow, pink, and white, on a taupe coloured background

for science, I timed it, as my phone's music player says the full thing (not the ACC version) is around 6 minutes long. this is my result timing it (pls excuse a few secs for pressing start/stop):

a phone timer result saying 6 minutes and 5.54 seconds

anyway, here's my frog boy! maybe if I kiss him, he will turn into a prince? ;)

a frog squishmallow - he is turquoise green, and he has a floral pattern on his stomach. his name tag is still attached, and it says his name is Robert

so this was a thing I didn't know existed until today! I didn't look exactly what it is, but I assume the dyes are approximations of ones you can have in game? anyway, saw these and thought of @altheavalara.bsky.social :D

this is my doofus, Jazz, sitting next to me yesterday afternoon.

a completely black cat sitting on a chair next to someone's leg. her front paws are stretched out like the sphinx, and she has a curious look on her face.

here's a picture to give you some kind of idea what I'm working with. this top square is the biggest size.

a pile of crocheted granny squares in various sizes - the top most one is large and folded in half. each row of crochet on it is in different bright colours of yarn. other, similarly large colourful squares are poking out from underneath.

been messing about with some Sharpies on kraft card! (creative markers and an ultra fine permanent one)

a pattern of flowing green lines - thick ones in light green, outlined by thinner, darker ones, outlined again by a very fine black line. drawn on kraft card.

a pattern of blue and purple flowing lines, with pink in between the sections. there are white dots on the blue parts, and yellow dots on the purple parts.

red circles with orange and yellow circles inside them. they are outlined in black and white, with white dots between two of the black outlines.

tattoos! the star is on my right forearm, and the Latin is on the thumb side of my left wrist. they look massive in these photos, but they're not actually that big.

this is the easiest time I've ever had drawing a Celtic knot; turns out all I needed was someone to explain it in a way that made sense to me!

I bought a needle felting kit at Xmas, but I've not done much with it bc I don't really know what I'm doing. but here is some practice from today!

two pieces of rectangular felt on a sponge background, with a single felting needle on top of them. the left rectangle is grey, and has a circular design in white, green, pink and purple. the right rectangle is black, and a circular design in yellow, orange, and red, and it repeats several times

not the first thing I've finished so far in 2024, but definitely the first thing that was wholly made this yr. not sure it's what I wanted when I started, but also not displeased with it

a wonky circle of grey felt, with smaller brightly coloured circles upon it. the circles are stitched with spirals, and there is circular stitching in the background. all the threads are multicoloured in various light shades.

did a drawing with a fountain pen for the first time in who knows how long (I haven't been drawing much this year, and I've been really into gel pens when I have).

an abstract type pattern drawn in red ink with some gold gel pen colouring on it

this is my favourite piece of the bits of material I painted this morning. I think it's calico but idk for sure, since it was reclaimed from a kit that came with a magazine.

unbleached material, painted roughly with indigo and orange paint. the material is not covered completely, and in some parts the paint has mixed
