Tickle flies are back!!! Our midges dont bite, they dont even have mouth parts. They just mate, die, and be feasted on! They provide vital food for birds and fish before winter hits. I prefer watching the beauty of their swarm ballet than watching snow flakes fall.

I dont usually do this, but the sky today is too beautiful to not share. Also, my old dog walking around without her wheelchair! She only needed it for 20 mins this morning cuz she woke up wobbly, and has been upright the rest of the day 😁

Rehoming asshole dog. He was outside sunning for the longest time. Then came in just to pee in the middle of the livingroom. Hence, my house being covered in washable pads. Ughhh old dogs, going on 18. He totally forgot potties go outside. Its all good as long as my washer and dryer dont crap out.

You may use this pic instead. My dogs worked as snuggle therapists. Here they are with college students during finals season. The didnt get paid in treats though, they got paid in cold hard cash. They paid the rent for 2 months.

A few years ago i learned how good turtle vision is. They can see more colors than we can! I set up garden lights all over the garden and a few around turtlearium, i love watching them gaze at the changing colors 🥰

Thanx, its a chicken coop. I enclosed it with chicken wire, even along the bottom, and 18inch high hardware fabric aroud the bottom of the perimeter. And used a clear side kiddy pool, so my dogs can see em swim. Then made ramps up so they can get out and roam on the land. Its still in progress 😁

Her balance has increasingly been a problem for a few months, and the past week couldnt take more than 3 steps before falling over, even when trying to hold her up with harness and leash. This is her staying upright after 30 mins in the wheelchair. Recalibrated to almost fully normal! Miracle 🥰🥰🥰

Life with an 18 year old dog. First she forgot potties are outside, so i covered the house in washable pads. Now shes got vestibular issues, so i just got her a wheel chair so she doesnt fall over 😁 old is the goal, im happy to accomodate 🥂 shes adjusting well, just got her in it an hr ago

I set up a small wildlife pond, now we have dragonflies and damsel flies in the yard. They even started landing on me and my dogs 🥰 they follow me around when i mow the lawn, eating all the gnats that fly up.

My diy magnetic fly curtain 🥰🥰🥰 just took the magnet parts off the cheap ass one that ripped, and got this sheer curtain, used liquid stitch to make a 3 inch strip down the middle, cut it when dry, and attached the magnets. Doesnt let as much air in as the other one, but much cuter 🥰

We did it backwards. Ended up with 4 dogs and 2 turtles then got wrongfully evicted from our rent controlled house, and spent 3 years living in the cars, couch surfing, and bouncing around rentals that kept increasing in cost, til we finally got a home thats forever ours (really for turts and dogs)

I had to dig through my storage unit for the water chiller from our old hydropinic gardening days to use in my turtles pool cuz the water is getting way too hot even with the umbrella up. Ive already refilled the wildlife water bowls 4 times today. Not looking forward to august.

I just planted a native garden around the leaf corrals, and have a small mound of mostly bare soil for burrowing bees. I also made a water station with kiddie pools and an aquarium filter. Im so excited to see what comes to party in my garden. Last year i discoverd a mottled tortoise beetle!

I found this beagle girl on the street, and her owners didnt want her back, after having her for almost 10 years, from a breeder. Shes been with us 4 years now, and every day we cant believe how lucky we are to have ended up with her 🥰
