Fab was 1 end of the strip mall, nearest town, Sushi Barn the other, 3 empty stores in between. The 1 next to Fab had done pretty well when those little paintball robots were hot. Next to that had been nails & hair extensions. The 1 between that & Sushi Barn must've always been vacant. >

It is the quality of truthfulness which makes Ibn Fadlan's tale so horrifying. His encounters w/the monsters of the mist, the “eaters of the dead,” is told w/the same attention to detail & careful skepticism that marks the other portions of the manuscript. The reader may judge for himself.
