Sombra was the reason I got into Overwatch when she first released. She's felt like a hybrid for quite a while now but its good that's she's now a certified support

Wardogs is their first game being published by another company that's not themselves which is good, but with how the developers are handling the game makes me think twice giving them £37

rooseuk.bsky.social @rooseuk.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I would recommending looking into BULKHEAD (Developers of Wardogs) Their track record is... not the greatest. Previous games have been abandoned mid-development due to poor sales and pr spite getting some Esport people to play Battalion: Legacy. Also something about Kickstarter with them?

Recently got hands on a Steam OLED for my 25th a few weeks back and even after nearly 3 years since its launch: It still holds up to its name and price... even if its £650 Will be interesting to see what Steam does with its big brother in the future

BUT I RISE AGAIN! (I bet the guy with 11 million from yesterday is going to dethrone me again but let me have my moment 😭 [Also there's no music because I turned off the Wordatro! OST in replacement for my own music)

Also, I finally hit the "Large Score" Achievement (Reach a score of 1 million with one word) which now leaves me with two more achievements before 100%ing Wordatro! (Also the brief pause between scoring and me talking was me getting up from my chair and posing lol)

It's good the UK government is finally realising with all forms of media, that being: - Games - Film and TV - Comics that "Oh shit, we actually have some talented people in our country and we should be helping them by giving out grants!"

rooseuk.bsky.social @rooseuk.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

There are some absolute bangers made by smaller teams from the UK, notably Crow Country and Sker Ritual are two good examples. We've also got companies such as Jagex 💪 based in Cambridge that fun fact: they tend to take on people from Cambridge Regional College that are doing Games Design.

I have a disliking to E33 because hot take: It's nothing special. Atomfall on the otherhand is made by a company who makes video games and comics, are comically British (both setting and that Rebellion are based in Oxford), and them winning is a step forward to show that yes: UK people makes games

Saw the news about the BAFTA Game Awards last night and its really good to see games win awards like KCD2 with Best Narrative, No Man Sky with Best Evolving Game, and E33 shamelessly winning awards But I think the biggest highlight is seeing Atomfall winning Best British Game and being appreciated

It was very packed for the first two hours, and also very hot and sweaty. Good that it did calm down later on which gave me a chance to play some games I wanted to during those first 2 hours. Will you be at Debug next weekend?

I did some Time Crisis 2 and 3 yesterday at NQ64 in London, and genuinely spite my very strong opinion about multi weapon choices in rail shooters: I might try and master Time Crisis 3 because ngl the game is boring in comparison to 2 and 4, but there's opportunities to pull off some insane strats
