My wife died in my arms 1,335 days ago. I miss her every single moment but some days, like today are especially lonesome. This is a piece I call Anguish. I love you, Jade Piper. #inkart #inkillustration #blackink #anguish #grief #loss #rip #valentinesday #loneliness

The snow is melting, the days are getting longer, spring is on the way. Soon the pink magnolias will be blooming, one of my favorite times in the year. (Magnolia x soulangeana ‘Alexandrina’) #art #inkart #flowers #spring #magnolia #blackandwhiteart #dippen #inkillustration #stippling

My favorite part of my visit to the Netherlands was the MC Escher museum in Den Haag. I'd always loved Escher but to see his work in person was next-level. #art #museum #netherlands #mcescher #inkart #denhaag #escher

A pond with a carp swimming in it, with many autumn leaves floating on top of the water. Trees are reflected in the water.

A landscape of dark trees, with a town or city looming in the distance.

A close up of a human eye, with a human skull reflected in the pupil.

A whimsical building with staircases running up the walls and along the ceiling. Entrances and arches defying physics.

I call this one "Mania", ink on Bristol board. There's so much to be angry about and outraged at, I hope that you and yours are safe and sound in this increasingly awful world. #art #ink #inkpainting #mania #mentalillness #wolf #rage

Foxglove aka Digitalis, a powerful medicine and deadly poison. I'm on a kick of drawing deadly plants. #art #illustration #inkart #foxglove #poison

Finished is better than terrible #oldknees

A crow kicks a small ball of snow. They then start rolling it into a larger ball while saying "trust the process...". They kick more snow into a pile and stick a branch in repeating "trust the process" to itself. They place small stones. They say "Phew!" and stand back to look at its creation, which we see now is a mess of a project that looks somewhat like a melted bird. The final panel the crow says "haha it's terrible".
