I don't want my taxes used to pay for the utter nonsense of a pointless byelection for him to win a seat he is already the MP for. Clacton voted him in so they can pay for their own byelection to vote him in again. He's their mess, they should cough up.

They are closing because, well, capitalism. If a business that sells a luxury service closes because they can't afford to run it without what is effectively a state handout, then their business model is not very robust.
