Hi all it's #PortfolioDay I'm Steve, a Senior Freelance Graphic Designer based in Sheffield. I don't just design I am also an award winning miniature photographer I create practically shot cinematic scenes and have also illustrated alternate movie posters. Visit www.robotwig.com to see my work

Grid of work showcasing in the left two panels my illustration work for alternate movie posters and on the right my photography work using creative lighting and real figures.

Grid of work showing my practically shot photography using homemade sets, cotton wool for fire and foil for water effects along with lighting and stage setups and a tiny bit of digital work to polish the shots off which is usually removing joints and adding small effects that aren't possible to do like the flame from Ghostface lighter for instance.

Another stint of work complete! Following on from the last post, its actually quite tiring holding your breath for fiddly lettering! Im just glad there wasn't an "S" I hate drawing them! 😂 #art #drawing #motogp

Ron Fisher Artist @ronfisherartist.bsky.social · 11/04/2026

Tips for fine lettering in colour pencils! (Especially white/ pale letters on dark backgrounds) 1. Use a magnifier (if your eyes are terrible, lile mine) 2. Make sure your pencil stays sharp 3. Don't. Breathe. #art

A view though my magnifying glass looking at the lettering i have to draw

A shot of the pencil, sharpened as much as i could (though i did it again after taking this picture to make certain it was sharp enough)
