Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 17/08/2026The least realistic thing about Reacher is that I’m supposed to believe Alan Ritchson can walk into a thrift store and find clothes that actually fit. 140

Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 13/12/2025I got the Cypher System PDFs from my all-in pledge, and now I’ve decided I can’t wait for Cypher 2.0. I’m designing an Urban Fantasy campaign right now with Godforsaken and It’s Only Magic. These genre books are so damn good! Thanks for making these awesome books @montecookgames.com! 030

Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 22/11/2025The older I get, the more I realize there’s so much performative bullshit in life, that we lose track of the “why.” Who knew our parents were right when they said “because I said so?” That’s basically life. Someone “said so,” and we just do it. 030

Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 12/09/2025I would LOVE full book treatments of Predation and Gods of the Fall. (So expensive to get a physical book used!) 020
Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 12/09/2025I hope this leads to more stretch goals with a full Predation book. It’s truly one of the coolest settings I’ve ever read. Let’s do this! 052
Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 07/09/2025I didn’t feel like you were. I agree with most of what you and Rob are saying, just chiming in with how I tend to handle it. And like you I can read a game and see quite a bit of what’s going on, but I’ve been surprised enough in play to have a process for the when and why of house ruling for me. 100
Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 07/09/2025I think running RAW, initially, is important to understanding a game. I hesitate to change a rule I haven’t played in the context of the game, even rules I’ve seen before that I may have had a bad experience with. I’m likely to skip a whole game rather than hack it before trying it. 110
Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 06/09/2025The 4E version was so good, but my disdain for WotC at the time made it fall under my radar until it was near impossible to get a complete set. I’d love a reprint with those exact rules. 220
Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 06/09/2025Dude! I literally cringed when I read this. My son asked me if I was okay. LOL 100
Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 06/09/2025I do prefer what we see more often in the RPG and text book industries, but I’m too…particular?…to just throw away any part of a book. 100

Ron Blessing (he/him) @ronblessing.bsky.social · 31/08/2025Twenty years after it ended, I’m finally watching Star Trek: Enterprise. I fell off it quickly back in ‘01 and another time during the pandemic, but I actually like it now.
