##NowWatching Psycho II, 1983 A very underappreciated film, not the Hitchcock masterpiece, but we'll worth a watch as Norman Bates tries to adapt to life outside the institution. The presence of a young Meg Tilly keeps it grounded and I don't think it would have worked without her.

#NowWatching Dark Shadows Continuing this watch of the original series from the beginning. It's really incredible, so simply done, such eerie moodiness. I can't help but be struck by Alexandra Moltke as Victoria Winters and how stunning she was in that shadow laden b&w.

Before I heard punk, there was Billy Joel. One of the few musicians my religious mother would allow. It was nice because he wore a tie behind a piano. I was listening to the words. Captain Jack, Movin' Out, The Stranger, Only The Good Die Young, My Life, You May Be Right. It primed me for punk.
