40 years ago this week, President Reagan traveled to Reykjavik, Iceland, for a historic meeting with General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev. Ronald Reagan challenged the Soviet Union while pursuing a safer, more peaceful world. The summit became a pivotal moment in ending the Cold War.

As Untold Mr. T: I Pity the Fool airs on Netflix, we look back on Mr. T who became an important part of the “Just Say No” campaign. His work with Mrs. Reagan was “the highlight of my career.” He didn’t just talk. While filming Rocky III, he sought out homeless shelters to help people in need.
