I'm just saying that if any candidate ran on the single issue of insisting that all political ads come with "side effects may include" as required of pharmaceuticals, I would vote for her or him.

Somewhere along the line there was a mix-up. Someone observed that "nobody uses faxes anymore," and further down the chain of transmission it arrived as "nobody uses facts anymore." No one has been able to confirm the original wording, though. There's no paper trail.

My new book shows today's politics as part of a pattern of progress. We've had 4 Americas since the founding - Jefferson's agricultural economy, Lincoln's industrial, FDR's full-employment and Reagan's information economy. Now we can choose to create a fifth America. www.amazon.com/dp/B0H6P5MZ6Z/

The New York Knicks made the NBA Finals. New Yorkers had to liquidate some of their stocks to get money for seats for the home games, so last week (June 1 - 5) represented one of the sharper sell-offs of stocks in 2026, the NASDAQ dropping about 5%.

It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends. We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over. We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

The Dow reached a closing high of 381.17 on September 3 1929. It wasn’t until November 23 1954 that the Dow finally closed above that 1929 level again. A 1929-style crash and recovery starting from a 2025 peak would imply new highs in 2050.

Judge Young: "This case ... squarely presents the issue whether non-citizens lawfully present here in United States actually have the same free speech rights as the rest of us. The Court answers this Constitutional question unequivocally 'yes, they do.' 'No law' means 'no law.'"
This case -– perhaps the most important ever to fall within the jurisdiction of this district court –- squarely presents the issue whether non-citizens lawfully present here in United States actually have the same free speech rights as the rest of us. The Court answers this Constitutional question unequivocally “yes, they do.” “No law” means “no law.” The First Amendment does not draw President Trump’s invidious distinction and it is not to be found in our history or jurisprudence. See Section III.A infra. No one’s freedom of speech is unlimited, of course, but these limits are the same for both citizens and non-citizens alike.
