Like...I haven't watched 7 since I first saw it. But basically, Solo (the past, framed as good) is killed by his son (the future, framed as bad). Rey (the future) is empowered by Solo, Luke's Lightsaber (the past). So when the future is good, it's connected to the past.

I have not read abundance, but the premise that I should value the advice of Abundance (a work of two undergrad journalists) over the critical reviews I've seen (by doctoral degree holders in economics) a priori seems a bit silly.

I think people have this knee-jerk reaction to some of the early "traps" they "fell for." Kind of like Temple of the False God. It's a way they feel they have grown as players, even if it's overblown and ultimately not useful.

Spellbook enables the gameplan, because it's a noncreature spell that costs 0. So if I absolutely need to hold onto a massive 30 card hand I can. I do run counterspells, so it's not like I necessarily lose outright. But worst case scenario, it is another card that I cast and draw... 8 cards with.

Because you are probably not playing against Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur? Or any of the other handful of hand size reduction cards? Reliquary tower taps for colorless. The more colors you run, the greater the risk. That's it. In my Ghyrson Starn deck, it's not a good card, but spellbook is.
