We had one hell of a sunset here in Utah last night. These were taken all on an iPhone, and only tweaked the exposure and highlights. Colors are untouched and 98% accurate to what I was seeing in person. Just gorgeous.

This morning I woke up to find our sweet pug, Koda had passed during the night. He valiantly fought off cancer for five months; it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge. He was the sweetest good boy and our hearts are so very broken, especially my son who has grown up with his best friend. 🐾💔

I get it. I adore the files of my Fujifilm X100F - but the older X100S had this magic sauce (thank u @davidhobby.bsky.social - it made some of my favorite photos of Kami). I still browse for an M240 - came close to picking one up, but it was thru KSL classifieds and I just didn’t trust the seller.

3500k for cooking in kitchen ya think? Or a little cooler? I think I’d prefer natural light a bit cooler to see how things are cooking/charring etc. Especially with green veggies and such. I’ve got color temp controlled bulbs for the master bath and it’s awesome. Time for the rest of the house.

Sometimes it’s disheartening when you think you’ve made some wonderful art, but it ends up lost in the void. I do it for me, true…but you begin to wonder if you’ve “got what it takes”. I wish we had Trax running east and west off all the major streets coming off I-15 down into Utah County. I take 106th South out to Daybreak, and it is incredibly frustrating sitting so long in traffic. They also need them running north/south especially as the west side grows. Such shortsightedness.
