LRP hits on its own but I also caught a stray Lucia thought off of it oughhhh

"I am a mosaic of everyone I've ever loved, even for a heartbeat" and her Echo of Mirrored Insight makes her learn muscle memory things by making her relive other people learning how to do something

The bag of tricks she brings to a fight is filled with things she's gained from those around her and that mosaic of martial skill is her primary tool for protecting those she holds dear

I think about these a lot lately

viridianmasquerade

I make my ramen the way a friend taught me in eleventh grade. Every fall, I listen to a playlist made for me by a boy I drove across a border to hook up with. I eat sushi because a girl who won't talk to me anymore made me try it, and Indian food because my best friend's parents ordered for me before I knew what I liked. There are movies I love because someone I loved loved them first. I am a mosaic of everyone I've ever loved, even for a heartbeat.

i-wrotethisforme

My PIN number to this day is my second grade best friends birthday. There are people I don't talk to anymore whose families are still in my prayers. There are shirts I wear to bed from exes of 8 years ago who are married now with kids. And I haven't found a macaroni salad recipe better than my college boyfriend's moms'. Our lives are made up of so many people and when people become parts of our lives, some parts remain long after they leave. And in the same exact way it's comforting to know there are so many lives you're still a part of that you have no idea about.

We're getting there little by little, sure. But it's a road. Anyway happy international asexuality day #asexual #internationalasexualityday #asexualvisibilityday

A comic with a simple style depicting two people wearing clothes with the colors of the asexual flag, facing each other and having a conversation. The person on the left says: "As a sex-repulsed asexual, I feel like I'm treated as inferior to sex-favorable asexuals because I can't give people the satisfaction of talking about, writing about, or engaging with sex." The person on the right says: "As a sex-favorable asexual, I feel like I'm respected less than sex-repulsed asexuals because I don't conform to the stereotype people have of aces, so they either kinda ignore my orientation or impose new stereotypes on me."
A second panel shows both of them looking dejected, supporting each other by the shoulder. The person on the left concludes: "So, basically, we can't win, huh." The person on the right answers: "What else is new."

Bit late to the punch, but anyway: Lucia (right) is some flavor of acespec, but hasn't really thought too deep about it.

#wolaotd Lucia has overlap with multiple Scions, especially the more martially aligned ones. She's picked up hand-to-hand techniques from Lyse, aerial stuff from Estinien, and so on. Being gifted with an Echo that mimics muscle memory and talented co-workers has done wonders for her skills.

Yeah sure, earliest I could find. Green hair is the main thing I've entirely retconned out, modern ARR-era designs have the same orangeish brown as she does in DT-era stuff. The eyepatch isn't a retcon thing, there's a specific point in her story she starts using one.

EARLY version of a Lucia Klarwind wearing ARR-era scale mail and sporting the green hair she originally had before the redesign.

A Dawntrail-era version of Lucia, now with an eyepatch, and her modern light brown hair she's grown out over the years being the main changes. She's wearing a fairly casual adventurer's outfit, and pointing downwards at the viewer with a confident smile on her face.

Subtitles on the bottom: "Well fought. Shall we take a break?"

Arcadion fighter age stuff: So basically CBU3's writing team decided 10+ years ago that their game world treats 16 as the age of maturity, and commits to the bit with every "young adult" they write, and as a result, the discourse keeps happening? Cool.

#ffxiv so with the materials usage licence adding Dawntrail's EP7 to the list of stuff that is allowed in gameplay footage but the single not containing Everything Burns, I'm wondering if we've got another situation where the actual song that plays in M12 is an instant ticket to copyright town
