While it's based on actual satellite measurements, this visualization is more emotional than scientific, and what I always liked about it is seeing how the planet "breathes," with the waves of CO2 moving from north to south as the seasons change. Source Code: github.com/rokotyan/cli...

cosmos.gl was created to overcome bottlenecks when working with huge network graphs and machine learning embeddings. Version 2.0 comes with a significant performance boost over the previous version and implements new features like point dragging and clustering.

A month's worth of news (or terms that appear in the news) visualized as a network graph by AskNews & 🪐 Cosmograph. I really like looking at how topics change over time. It's a bit noisy, but it still gives you some understanding of what events have happened and how they are connected.

Physics simulation is the most enjoyable part of creative coding / data vis (at least for me). It brings so much joy to the dev process. (Working on a node clustering algorithm for Cosmograph)

Looks like BlueSky and the data vis community are having a moment right now! I came across this awesome aurora.ndimensional.xyz visualization by @syntacrobat.xyz today showing a network graph of 7.7M BlueSky users 🤯 Graph embeddings, UMAP, WebGPU — all the stuff I like!
