#3goodthings 1. Beautiful blue sky day in Northern Spain. 2. Spotties in a supermarket. I limited myself to one. 😂😋🍌 3. Tootsies demanded a rest day, so I bypassed today's walk and took the train to Llames, my next stop - and guess what I found in my bathroom - just what the tender tootsies need.

On the camino, the signs are your friends. You're doing fine, they say. Keep going. Missed one today, had to rely on the kindness of locals (no shortage) to keep me going in the right direction. In the 40 mins or so until I saw another yellow arrow, I felt rudderless.

Whiling away the time, another 1.5 hours, till the restaurant which I've been told is '2 minutes away' opens for dinner. Nothing since breakfast on the road (pic) about 6 hours ago. Complication: still lashing. Don't relish getting soaked again. Tum te tum. As problems go, it's not huge.

#3goodthings 1. 2nd day of Camino, after first hour of sunshine the rain came, and it was biblical. 2 torturous hours later (nowhere to shelter) a lovely man pulled over and gave this drowned rat a lift. 2. Very scenic, pics before rain. 3. Weather set to improve for the rest of my stay.... 🤞🤞🤞
