i love the sweeping motifs and the lofty dialogue of 7. avril and cossete really set the stage for the game. even the two contrasting xo's.

there are very cool and intense moments here. the wingman system is really good.

nearing the endgame and i still don't vibe with the plot. there are cameos and callbacks.. but idk. maybe the 'overhype' got to me. i have watched and played AC7 multiple times. something is missing here. i really enjoyed the perspectives and twists of 7 more. even the characters.

is it a hardware bug or feature my phone basically has a "double" biometric lock lol. my fingers are too dry to trigger the ultrasonic fingerprint detector past the thicker matte screen but combined with a bit of oil from touching my hair it is actually very consistent. what a quirk
