![FROSTY TOOLS SUCKS
Because it relies on generative AI, a process that hinges on stolen training data, and uses dangerous amounts of energy & water to power each shoutout.
The creator has admitted to using “The Pile” in the FrostyTools training data[1], which includes stolen Youtube Subtitles, Self-Published books and Academic Papers[2], directly stealing from small artists & creators without permission or compensation.
Based on the output from other models, each message from Frostytools can use up to an 500ml (18oz) of water & enough energy to fully charge your phone 7 times.[3]
Stop using FrostyTools. It is stealing work and polluting the planet to shoutout your raiders. Just use a non-AI chatbot instead.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:gflevrnbp44fo55twfatwqvg/bafkreigtonkuxsrdeia6n6zjy5v7kb4ohwyeorjfvxmratv2tejhq4dstq)
