Large sections of the indie author community seem very happy with using generative AI for "writing", covers, promotion, translation, audiobooks and all the rest. I'm tired of it. It's parasitical behaviour, IMO, and it damages the reputation of us all.

My favourite new fantasy series that I came across in the last couple of years was T.B. Schmid and R.Wade Hodges's Fate's Crucible series (beginning with Beyond the Burning Sea). I'm delighted they're working on the third book, and I can't wait to read it.
