Game pet peeves that make me a little TOO mad when I think of them: - We can't edit the Strangerville Lab and are stuck with that ugly one forever - Studios don't have a base build so it doesn't matter you can edit it cuz they reset every time - WHY CAN'T WE HAVE DIVING BOARDS IN THE OCEAN??

Since my save is back, I'm back to fine tuning it world by world in release order. Starting with Willow Creek, I'm making sims lore accurate so, for example, the BFFs are now ACTUALLY best friends and both Liberty and Summer have a crush on Travis. Plus, they're all very attracted to each other!

Thanks to a dear friend on our Brazilian Simmer Discord server I MANAGED TO FIND A BACKED UP VERSION OF MY OVERWRITTEN FOREVER SAVE! It was hidden in the folder under a .day file that wasn't accessible in game through the recover button. THE WORLD IS SAVED!

Also, I rebuilt all Nordhaven, including Terra-Potta for the Koopmans. I built it so it looked a little more like the traditional style houses on this side of the neighborhood, based on a mix of many debug shells.

Ok a few more clicks and it's done. I adjusted everyone's ages a bit so it makes more sense. Bella and Morty are both Adults, Cass is teen and Alexander is a toddler. Also, uncle Michael Bachelor will also still be alive in my timeline. Because why not 😂

Doing this will be quicker than starting from absolute zero, since I just have to save the families in chunks of 8 from the broken save to this one. The Goth and Gomes parts of the tree are also done. I made up a bunch of sims so the two families connections actually are as lore says so.

I started plopping the sims and building the family trees by the most complex, the Goth-Grumplebottom-Bachelors. I decided I'll fill in the blanks to make a full lineage so yes, I manufactured a brother to Simon Crumplebottom so Agatha can be in the tree. Plus Cornelia and Gunther will still live.

I haven't changed much in the city layout except that I decided to make the cheapest neighborhood totally made of rentals because to me it doesn't make sense to only have house to sell and none to rent like apartments.

Here's where I lost the most when my previous save iteration broke. I had already TOOL'ed a whole neighborhood and was down to detailing it. But then the save broke and I had to start it ALL OVER AGAIN. So here's how it looks now, where I'm partially satisfied with LMFAO Still needs much work.

Unfinished project number one: this rental I made mirroring the shell that's a "second apartment block". Before I consider this finished I need to figure out the floorplan, copy all that to the two floors above then decide whatever the hell I'll build as a community venue on the ground floor.

Next is Ciudad Enamorada and here we meet the first of my many abandoned projects/ideas. But first to my personal changes: I split the whole Dynamic Daters crew and placed each of them in their own apartment. Manuel is now the López's neighbor, while the rest share a building with the Nadirs.
