The TLG is actually created and run by Maria Pantelia personally. She relies on the income from subscriptions to fund the transcription of more texts. So... would hesitate to undermine this.

Some open-access Greek stuff leads to an interesting French court judgement - that the *text* of a critical edition of an ancient or medieval author cannot be copyright as there is no "authorial intention" but the opposite. Definitely true! www.roger-pearse.com/weblog/2026/...
