I don't even care that much about Pokémon anymore. However, this is objectively the cutest starter Pokémon of all time.

The more I learn how to play poker, the more I want to play poker with the full deck including the 2 jokers. Maybe that's just all the Balatro I've played talking though.

Silver age is probably a format of every set after Everfest (FaB's equivalent to MtG "Modern") So CC format with no cards only printed in WtR, ARC, MON, ToA, or EVR, and would start with Uprising. (Hence making Iyslander the face.) I imagine cards reprinted later, like Scar4Scar, are legal though.

The pacers lost the championship and it's still illegal for me to draft. Sometimes life is pain.

During my hiatus I've been playing a lot of MtG again. For Flesh and Blood players, you should feel super lucky about even our worst meta-games and how much our devs care about diversity. In the MtG pro-tour there are 4 blue red aggro decks and 4 mono-red aggro decks. 🤡🤡🤡

Don't play other TCGs where new cards slowly get phased out over time. Play Flesh and Blood where the new cards slowly get phased out over time, but with point multipliers!

Maybe. But as someone with middling results I was still ostracized from people I thought I was close to personally because they felt I "was not good enough." Idk if I have words to express how badly I want to prove them wrong.

Me: "Austin you sound congested this morning." Austin: *struggles to breath out his nose* "I'M NOT CONGESTED, I BREATH FINE." No idea why this kid is such a contrarian. Came out of no where.

Some hard hitting questions here about High Seas and the death of MnR. Worth a listen if either of those are something that interest you.

Main take away from this is there is a lot of demand for team events, which is currently being tragically underserved.

Played Viserai one last time for the last RtN I'll be attending this season. Cast Sonata Arcanix 6 times and added one card to my hand between all of them. Can't think of a more fitting way to see him go.

For no reason whatsoever, decided to watch this movie today. Lots of good action in it! Really glad none of its politics are relevant or applicable in society. Boy, that would definitely suck.

Wow, a random Mech L for Maxx was one of the best selling cards days before the Maxx armory deck was announced. What a "coincidence." 😑

believe it or not, this was me at 30. Fucking lol I'm back on the weight loss train now though - cutting out all sugar and have been Keto'ing for 3 days now. Hopefully by PT London I would've shed some pounds! LFG

Brodie is suspended until PT. Just a slap on the wrist, but should be a good deterrent for him to repeat this mistake again.

My "trigger" opinion is more nuanced than a quick post, so expect this week to be a deep dive on the matter. Very disappointed with the communities' reaction overall though.

I love Jarl. Nuu never feels more broken than when she gets to play 5+ blues all in one turn.

2160

Roger Bodee @rogerb-mnr.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

What's the better topic this week? 1. How frustrating the warrior card pool is compared to every other class. 2. A deep dive on attack reactions and why they are overall chronically under powered.

All we need is like 5-6 more types of effects like Jagged Edge and the MU MIGHT get somewhere around 50/50. 🤞

I've officially got the age where the toys and video games I grew up with are in a museum now. 👴 The game gear sucks btw. You need SIX AA Batteries and they only lasted like 2 hours when it was in use. It did have a backlit screen which was cool though.

Everyday is getting better. Thank you to everyone who reached out and said something nice. I was really low when everything was going down, but it genuinely helped a lot to hear how much people cared. Still going to play FaB at least through PT London, but unsure if I want to make content again.

Effective immediately, the MnR Cast is over due to irreconcilable differences. Unlike the last time, this is not a hiatus or suspension; the podcast is just over. The Patreon page is now unpublished and suspended, so no one will be billed again. Thank you for your support.

Merry Christmas #fabtcg! Here's my Christmas present to y'all. One of FaB's oldest memes canonized. Files below for you to mess around with. I intend to turn them into flyers local and have the xcf/psd available too. drive.google.com/drive/folder...
